7:00 AM – The Early Load
The van is packed, the playlist is on, and we’re headed into the early morning rush. From Lewisham to Hackney, our first clients are often working professionals or families getting a jumpstart on the day. A mum in Greenwich gives a grateful nod she’s juggling two kids, a conference call, and an empty laundry basket. We’ve got her.
11:00 AM – Flat Blocks & Friendly Chats
By late morning, we’re weaving through estates and Victorian terraces. A customer in Brockley leaves a bag outside with a handwritten note:
“Thanks again! You’re saving my life this week.”
Small gestures like this make the job feel personal. These aren’t just transactions they’re touch points in people’s routines.
2:00 PM – The Unexpected Moments
The route shifts toward Beckenham. A quick lunch, a surprise dog chasing the van (again), and a wrong turn into a street that’s not even on Google Maps. It’s not always smooth sailing but every hiccup becomes part of the story.
5:00 PM – Delivering Fresh Starts
By the afternoon, the return drop-offs begin. Folded, fresh-smelling clothes meet busy households. One couple in Dulwich opens the door smiling, already prepping dinner. “Laundry done?”
“Yes, and perfectly folded,” we say.
We finish off with a few final stops in Sydenham and Crystal Palace. If you’re slightly outside our zone (say, East London), we’ll still get to you — just with a small surcharge.
